MassDevelopment in partnership with the Massachusetts Cultural Council has approved a match grant of $15,000 from the Massachusetts Cultural Facilities Fund to CitySpace. The Feasibility & Technical Assistance grant will go towards the conceptual design of the 2nd floor ballroom and elevator access to Easthampton’s old Town Hall.

The organization is working in partnership with the City of Easthampton on this project. Request for qualifications and a description of the proposed design are available from the Finance Director’s Office, 50 Payson Avenue or by emailing melissaz@easthampton.org. Statements of Qualifications should be sent to Finance Director Melissa Zawadzki, Easthampton Municipal Building; 50 Payson Avenue, Easthampton, MA, 01027 by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. A pre-proposal building review will be held on January 4th, at 10:00 a.m. at 43 Main Street, Easthampton. The Town Hall building is listed on the National Historic Register, and designs must meet the standards of the Massachusetts Historic Commission.
