Old Town Hall Construction Updates

Preparing the Ground

Construction is steadily advancing at Old Town Hall as work continues on the new elevator and entryway, a critical step toward making the building fully accessible to all members of our community.

Last week, crews completed the final excavation and installed a moisture barrier to protect the foundation from a mixture of sand and clay. Layers of crushed stone were then placed and compacted, creating a strong and stable base for the structure.

This week, the next phase is underway with the installation of forms for the concrete footings. Weather permitting, the footings will be poured shortly, establishing the foundation that will support the new addition.

Each stage of progress moves us closer to reopening Old Town Hall as an accessible and welcoming space.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Follow our progress.
