Old Town Hall Construction Updates

Window and Decking: Progress is visible

Work continues to move forward on Phase II of the Old Town Hall restoration in Easthampton. Framers are now on site and the final decking has been installed, marking an important step in the construction of the building’s new elevator and entryway.

Another significant development is the careful removal of the large stained glass window frame. The window is now being sent out for restoration. Once the work is complete, the 25-foot stained glass window will return and be reinstalled as a central feature of the restored entrance.

With framing underway and key historic elements being restored, the next stage of construction is beginning to take shape. As work progresses, the project continues to balance improvements to accessibility with the preservation of historic features that define the building.
