TIPS FOR FUNDRAISING

Your story has impact! Share why CitySpace and Old Town Hall important to you? Why are you participating in Spring Into Action and raising funds to restore Old Town Hall as an affordable place for the arts? Is it the history of the building, the long-tern affordability for the arts or the economic impact. Perhaps all three!

  1. Choose a goal and tell folks why you chose that goal.
  2. Relate your goal and  back to the CitySpace and Old Town Hall.
  3. Ask for a specific amount such as $10, $25, or $50.
  4. Be kind and thank folks for supporting something that’s important to you.

Examples of how to ask

  • “As I Spring Into Action, I’ll be running 50 miles for CitySpace.”
  • “Would you consider donating $5, $10, or $15 per mile to help me hit my goal?”
  • “My goal is to raise $500 to help create a venue that offers longterm affordability for the arts and smart economic solutions for our region.”
